Established in March 1994, Partners is the corporation overseeing the affiliation of The Brigham Medical Center, The Massachusetts General Hospital and The North Shore Medical Center Inc. The system includes primary care physicians and specialists, community hospitals, the two founding academic medical centers, specialty facilities, community health centers and other health-related entities.
Partners Community HealthCare Inc. is the corporation responsible for developing an integrated delivery system for Partners HealthCare System, serving as the nexus for managed care contracting and administrative services.
