NCI was formed in 1986 to address the market for health care product contracting with the large proprietary hospital chains, purchasing alliances, and group purchasing organizations.  In aggregate, approximately a dozen of these organizations represent over 85% of all health care product purchasing nationwide.  NCI is nationally recognized and well-known at all levels of management within these organizations.
